Additional information

The auto-flammability of the test item was determined according to the VDI guideline 2263 (Grewer-Oven screening test). No self-ignition was observed up to 430 °C. The Grewer-Oven test is a screening test which is sufficient for the evaluation of a test substance as not being self-heating according to the UN Recommendations an the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, appendix 6. A main study according to the classification procedure for self-heating substances (according to UN Recommendations an the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, Part III, subsection 33.3.1.6, UN test N.4: Test method for self-heating substances) need not be applied.

The test item has not to be classified as self-heating substance in the sense of the classification criteria as laid down in Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 (CLP Regulation).
