Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

ABIOTIC DEGRADATION

DIRECT PHOTOLYSIS in Air, Water and Soil

The registration substance does not absorb light >290 nm (ozone band) and therefore a direct photolysis in air, water and soil will not occur.

INDIRECT PHOTOLYSIS in Air, Water and Soil

The registration substance may undergo OH radical induced indirect photolysis. The Half-life of the indirect photolysis can be estimated with US EPA AOPWIN Program calculating a low degradation half-life of 1.3h (12-hr day, 1.5E6 OH/cm3).

HYDROLYSIS

In prinicple the amid function of the registration substance can be cleaved abiotically but the half-life for the hydrolysis is >>100 years (US EPA Hydrowin Model). As the registration substance is readily biodegradable in an OECD 301B CO2 Evolution test (see IUCLID Chapter 5.2.1) a hydrolysis study need not to be conducted (REACH Regulation 2006/1907 Annex VIII, Column 2, 9.2.2.1).
