Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Additional information:

A GLP-compliant guinea-pig maximisation test was carried out in accordance with internationally accepted guidelines (Richeux, 2012).

A slight erythema was seen in 10% of the animals from the treated group, 24 hours after the challenge phase (test item concentration 4%). No reaction was recorded at 48 hours after the challenge phase. No reaction was seen in animals from the negative control group. On this basis it is concluded that copper di(acetate) is not sensitising to skin.
