Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

General Information

Implementation:
EU
Type of classification:
self-classification
Remarks:

Rationale "Reason for no classification":

-Self-reactive: based on structural features, the result of the melting/boiling tests and the auto-flammability test (see 4.2, 4.3 and 4.12) and experience in handling, it can be concluded that the substance is not self-reactive.

-Corrosive to metals:  The  pH of a saturated water phase is ca. 8 (see 4.8), the substance is not corrosive or irritating to skin (see 7.3) and the substance contains no halogens (see section 1). The substance is therefore not expected to be corrosive to metals.
