Description of key information

There is no information available on carcinogenicity of Phosphoric acid, mono- and di- C16-18 (even numbered) alkyl esters. However, since all in vitro genotoxicity tests were negative and since there was no indication in the repeated dose toxicity studies that the substance would be able to induce hyperplasia or pre-neoplastic lesions, carcinogenicity study is not needed. Carcinogenicity in humans is not expected.
