Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

For evaluating the biodegradation of the test substance, two valid studies performed according to the OECD Guidelines were available to assess the biodegradation in water of which one can be considered as the key study.

The key study was performed according to the OECD Guideline 301F and EU Method C.4 -D with GLP statement. No inhibitory effects of the test substance to sewage sludge microorganisms were observed (at 100 mg/L). The biodegradation of the test substance was found to be 90% after 28 days and satisfied the 10d window validation criterion. The test substance can be considered as readily biodegradable.

The other study was performed according to the OECD Guideline 301D and supports the conclusion above (79% after 28 days).
