There are no data to suggest that TMOS should be classified for carcinogenic effects.

Additional information

There are no data specific to the carcinogenic potential of TMOS. However, further testing is not considered necessary because: •The genotoxic data are negative, therefore, the substance is not classified for mutagencity; and •There are no signs of hyperplasia in repeated dose toxicity studies.
