Description of key information

The registered reaction mass was assessed to have a low potential for bioaccumulation based on the low partition coefficient, the low adsorption potential and the high water solubility of its two main constituents.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Based on the two main components experimental results, the registered reaction mass has a low partition coefficient (maximum log Kow = -1.67), a low adsorption potential (maximum log Koc = 2.21) and is very soluble in water (lowest solubility = 27.5 g/L). Based on these data, it considered that the reaction mass have a low potential for bioaccumulation and in accordance with Column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the bioaccumulation in aquatic species study does not need to be conducted.
