Description of key information
No valid information on the toxicity of Reaction products of lauric acid and oxybis(propanediol) to microorganisms is available. An OECD 209 test is proposed.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Additional information
Available data on aquatic organisms and the assumed ready biodegradability indicate little or no concern for microorganisms in sewage treatment plants. Nevertheless, an experimental study (OECD 209) is currently ongoing to assess the hazard towards aquatic microorganisms. The outcome of this test will be addressed in an update dossier soon.
