Results and discussion

Boiling point
Boiling pt.:
248 °C
Atm. press.:
>= 99.6 - <= 100.7 kPa
Decomposition:
no
Decomp. temp.:
> 252 °C
Remarks on result:
other: onset temperature, mean of two determinations (DSC), it can be assumed that the test item is decomposed at temperatures above 252 °C; atm pressure at run 1 99.6 kPa and at run 2 100.7 kPa

Any other information on results incl. tables

For the measurement of the test item the deviations of the melting points of the reference compounds were considered and the boiling temperature was automatically corrected.

Working Conditions:

The boiling point of the test item was determined by a Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC 2010; TA Instruments) under following conditions:

pan: aluminium pan with pinhole

weight ofthe test item: 5.87 mg (run 1) and 5.74 mg (run 2)

start temperature: 200 °C

rate of heating: 5 K/min

air pressure: 99.6 kPa (run 1) and 100.7 (run 2)

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The evaluation of endothermic signals for both runs results in a mean boiling point temperature of the test item of 248 °C (onset temperature).
Furthermore it can be assumed that the test item is decomposed at temperatures more than 252 °C.
