No simulation tests on the biodegradation of the test substance in water and sediments are available.

No data on the biodegradation of the test item in sediments and surface water are available. However, further biotic degradation testing shall be proposed if the chemical safety assessment according to Annex I indicates the need to investigate further degradation of the substance and its degradation products. The test substance was found to be poorly biodegradable in a GLP study according to OECD 301 B. It is assumed that the results of simulation studies would not reveal any different findings. Therefore, simulation studies in surface water and sediments are not provided.
