Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Key study: OECD guideline 105 and EU method A.6. GLP study.
The test substance is miscible with distilled water in any ratio, but the stable solutions were obtained for only some ratios. Only the solutions containing not more than 20 g of test item per 1 L of water were liquid during 30 day observations (the further observations were not continued). The greater content of the test item caused gel formation. At 20 ºC - 530 g of test item per liter of solution (1000 g of test item in 1 L of water) gives TOC value of 580 g per liter of the solution. This solution underwent in 5 minutes the solidification process resulting in gel form.
All the formed gels did not display thixotropy - did not become fluid when were agitated, but they broke into fine pieces.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
20 000 mg/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C
