Description of key information

Supporting study: Test method equivalent or similar to OECD Guideline 210. No analytical monitoring of the test substance was made. The median lethal dose (LC50) and the EC50 based on mortality and teratogenicity in rainbow trout were determined to be 6.4 and 1 µg/l, respectively

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Supporting study: A Long-term toxicity to fish test with sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate onSalmo gairdneri(rainbow trout) was performed following a test method equivalent or similar to OECD Guideline 212. Early life stages ofSalmo gairdneri, from the fertilized egg to the early fry stage, were exposed to 5-7 toxicant concentrations of the test substance, a solvent control and a blank control over a period of 60 days. No analytical monitoring of the test substance was made. The median lethal dose (LC50) and the EC50 based on mortality and teratogenicity in rainbow trout were determined to be 6.4 and 1 µg/l, respectively.
