Thermal Stability

The DSC-measurement in a closed glass crucible with the test item showed no exothermic effect up to the end of the measurement at 410 °C. At higher temperatures the course of the baseline indicated a pressure rise. The measurement was stopped at 410 °C to prevent a burst of the crucible.

The DSC-measurement in a closed steel crucible with the test item showed no exothermic effects up to the final temperature of the measurement (500 °C).

A graphical presentation of the DSC run No. 31696 (glass crucible) is given on page 7 (figure 1) of the report. A graphical presentation of the DSC run No. 31700 (steel crucible) is given on page 8 (figure 2) of the report.

 

Explosive Properties

No exothermic effect was observed up to 500 °C. Therefore the test on explosive properties was not necessary.
