Description of key information
The substance has a log Koc of 0.51 as determined by KOCWIN™ v2.00 module of EPI Suite™ v.4.00 using the traditional method via the Log Pow.

The estimated Log Koc value of 0.51 will be taken for the Chemical Safety Assessment, since a reliable experimental value is not available.Though the value was obtained for CAS 127-52-6, it is valid for the substance “CAS 127-52-6 trihydrate”, of which it is the main constituent.A study using the HPLC method according to OECD 121 was conducted, which is however not suitable for substances with estimated Log Koc value of below 1.5 and above 5. Consequently the study report states that the Log Koc value is < 1.5. Hence the results of this study were discarded.
