Description of key information

The components of this UVCB substance are expected to have very low Henry's Law Constants, owing to their miscibility in water and low vapor pressures.

The Henry's Law Constants for components of the UVCB Polyglycerine substance can be estimated from the quotient of their vapor pressures (Pascal) and water solubilities (mole/m3) . The glycerine component, being most prominent in the UVCB mixture and having the highest expected vapor pressure, will have the highest expected Henry's Law Constant (HLC). An experimental HLC of 0.00175 Pa/m3*mole was determined for glycerine at 25 °C by Hine and Mookerjee (1975). The substance, and other components of the UVCB mixture having similar water solubility but lower vapor pressure, can be considered as essentially non-volatile from water.
