Results and discussion

Flammable solids
Test procedure:
burning time (test type not further specified)
Remarks:
or specified in description of method (migrated information)
Remarks on result:
other: Since ignition did not occur within 2 min, the test item was classified as not flammable, and no determination of burning rate was necessary.
Pyrophoric solids
Test procedure:
ignition time on contact with air
Remarks:
Ignition on contact with air refers to either Pyrophoric solids or Pyrophoric liquids depending on physical state (migrated information).
Remarks on result:
no ignition on contact with air (not further specified)
Remarks:
corresponding to 'no' in migrated source record.
Pyrophoric liquids
Test procedure:
ignition time on contact with air
Remarks:
Ignition on contact with air refers to either Pyrophoric solids or Pyrophoric liquids depending on physical state (migrated information).
Remarks on result:
no ignition on contact with air (not further specified)
Remarks:
corresponding to 'no' in migrated source record.

Any other information on results incl. tables

Preliminary screening test

The test item glowed in the flame, partly with red heat. It was noted that the substance did not start burning. There was no ignition. After 2 min, the burner was taken away. The glowing continued for approx. 2 -3 min and died then. A grey residue was observed.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
Since ignition did not occur within two minutes, the test item was classified as not flammable
