Description of key information

Vapour pressure was determined at different temperatures. At 20°C, the vapour pressure was determined to be 2666.45 Pa (20 torr).

Data from peer-reviewed journal, adequate for assessment. Using two different methods, the vapour pressure was measured at different temperatures. From these measurements two vapour pressure equations were determined. The vapour equation for solid IF5 is: log p = 11.764 – (3035/T(K)) and for the liquid phase: log p = 11.764 – (3035/T(K)).
