Description of key information

No biodegradation in soil expected.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Based on the low biodegradation rate in the ready biodegradation studies (< 15% in 28 days) and the high potential to adsorb to soil organic matter (log Koc 14.2, KOCWIN v2.00, MCI), Fatty acids, C18 unsaturated, trimers, hydrogenated might be persistent in soil. Therefore, as worst case approach, the substance is assumed to be persistent, and no soil simulation test is proposed.
