Description of key information

For the test item Reaction product of adipic acid and sebacic acid and isotridecan-1 -ol is no study available. However, it is likely that the studies conducted on the read-across substance bis(2 -ethylhexyl) adipate are valid for Reaction product of adipic acid and sebacic acid and isotridecan-1 -ol (please see justification for read-across).In an activated sludge respiratory inhibition test with di-2-ethylhexyl adipate as test substance a NOEC of 350 mg/L was determined of was determined (EC50 > 350 mg/L

Additional information

For the test item Reaction product of adipic acid and sebacic acid and isotridecan-1 -ol is no study available. However, it is likely that the studies conducted on the read-across substance bis(2 -ethylhexyl) adipate are valid for Reaction product of adipic acid and sebacic acid and isotridecan-1 -ol (please see justification for read-across).

In an activated sludge respiratory inhibition test according to EU Method C.11 (Biodegradation: Activated Sludge Respiration Inhibition Test) with di-2-ethylhexyl adipate as test substance, a NOEC of 350 mg/L was determined. The EC50 was > 350 mg/L. Effect levels are for above the watersolubility of di-2-ethylhexyl adipate.
