The Koc value of the substance (anionic surfactant) indicates, that the substance exhibits reduced mobility, i.e. that it does adsorb rather strongly to soils or sediments. Furthermore, the substance is readily biodegradable and hence, contamination of environmental compartments like surface waters, sediment, soil and groundwater via horizontal and vertical transport is not expected. The very low vapour pressure of the substance indicates that the risk of environmental contamination via the air is very low. Hence, the issue of transport and distribution in all compartments of the environment is of no concern.
