Description of key information

No effects up to the limit of water solubility of the substance.
EL50 (48 h) > 100 mg/L for Daphnia magna in freshwater (OECD 202)
LL50 (96 h) > 1000 mg/L for Mysidopsis bahia in marine water (OCSPP.85.1035)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Freshwater: Water accommodated fractions of Distillates (Fischer-Tropsch), 210-360 degree Celsius, hydrotreated, isoalkanes, cyclics, <0.1% aromatics were tested according to OECD 202 and GLP, and produced a 48-h EL50 value of > 100 mg/L and a NOELR value of 100 mg/L for Daphnia magna (Hartwell, 2011). Marine: Water accommodated fractions of Distillates (Fischer-Tropsch), 210-360 degree Celsius, hydrotreated, isoalkanes, cyclics, <0.1% aromatics were tested according to OCSPP 85.1035 (limit test) and GLP, and produced a 96-h LL50 value of > 1000 mg/L and a NOELR value of 1000 mg/L for Mysidopsis bahia (Hartwell, 2011).
