Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Odour:
odourless
Substance type:
inorganic
Conclusions:
odourless white inorganic crystalline solid of clay mineral-like lamellar hydrocalumite-type which has been identified as technically pure calcium-hydroxo-aluminate-phosphonate-hydrate (phosphonate-hydrocalumite)
Executive summary:

Substance "reaction mass of calcium hydrogen phosphonate and dialuminium tricalcium hexaoxide" is an odourless white inorganic crystalline solid of clay mineral-like lamellar hydrocalumite-type which has been identified as technically pure calcium-hydroxo-aluminate-phosphonate-hydrate (phosphonate-hydrocalumite). In a final production step, the phosphonate-hydrocalumite is in-situ coated with fatty acids, C16-18 (CAS No. 67701-03-5, EC No. 266-928-5).
