Additional information

Acute tests on all three trophic levels were performed to examine the aquatic toxicity of the test substance. In all cases no toxic effect could be detected in the range of the water solubility of the test substance.

The NOEC for the reproduction of Daphnia magna and the NOEC for sublethal effects on Oncorhynchus mykiss in two long term guideline studies were found to exceed the water solubility of the substance, too.

The EC50 of the test compound on activated sludge was determined to be above 100 mg/L (nominal concentration).

Thus, the compound is considered with high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic organisms in the range of water solubility.
