Description of key information

In accordance with section 1 of REACH Annex XI, peformance of a study in water and sediment does not appear scientifically necessary. Several biodegradation tests obtained that 2,4-dichloro-1-nitrobenzene as the main constituent of the substance is not readily biodegradable. There is no indication that better biodegradability will be observed in the water and sediment compartment.
