Description of key information

Because Bis-Tes (dried) reacts with water, it is not possible to use the shake flask method or estimation method for determination of the Pow of this test substance. The HPLC method was considered the best alternative, the HPLC method was performed at neutral pH.

The HPLC method was applied for the determination of the partition coefficient (Pow) of Bis-Tes (dried). The Pow value of the major component of the test substance at neutral was pH > 6.5 (Pow > 3.2 × 10ee6 ).
