25 °C

Additional information

The partition coefficient of PC2414 was determined using HPLC analysis in accordance with EU Method A8 testing guideline. As testing was carried out at pH 2.4, a correction was made to obtain an estimated log10 Pow value for PC2414 at an environmentally relevant pH (pH 7). The partition coefficient was determined to be 54.5, log10 Pow 1.74. PC2414 has a corrected partition coefficient of 1.54 x 10-2, log10 P'ow -1.81 at pH 7. However, due to the hydrolytic instability of PC2414 in neutral to alkaline conditions, the calculated partition coefficient at pH 7 is anticipated to be essentially meaningless with respect to environmental effect.
