Administrative data
First-aid measures
After inhalation: Dust inhalation: In case of problems: Move into fresh air and keep at rest. In case of persistent throat irritation or coughing: Seek medical attention and bring along these instructions.
After skin contact: Remove contaminated clothes and rinse skin thoroughly with water.
After eye contact: Do not rub eye. Immediately flush with plenty of water for up to 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses and open eyelids widely. If irritation persists: Seek medical attention and bring these instructions.
After ingestion: Immediately rinse mouth and drink plenty of water. Keep person under observation. If person becomes uncomfortable seek hospital and bring these instructions.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Use fire-extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding materials.
During fire, gases hazardous to health may be formed.
Protective equipment for fire-fighters: Use air-supplied respirator during fire fighting.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Avoid inhalation of dust. Follow precautions for safe handling described in the safety data sheet.
Environmental precautions: Avoid spreading dust or contaminated materials.
Methods for cleaning up: Use a vacuum cleaner. If not possible, moisten dust with water before it is collected with shovel, broom or the like.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid inhalation of dust. Observe good chemical hygiene practices. Use work methods which minimise dust production. During dust-raising work: Local exhaust is recommended.
Storage: Store in closed original container in a dry place.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Engineering measures: Provide adequate ventilation. The risk of inhalation of dust must be minimized as much as possible.
Personal protection: Personal protection equipment should be chosen according to the CEN standards and in discussion with the supplier of the personal protective equipment.
Respiratory equipment: During dust-raising work: Use respiratory equipment with particle filter, type P3.
Hand protection: In case of contact: Use protective gloves. Nitrile gloves are recommended.
Eye protection: Use tight fitting goggles if dust is generated.
Hygiene measures: Wash hands after handling.
Stability and reactivity
Stable under normal temperature conditions.
Disposal considerations
Dispose of waste and residues in accordance with local authority requirements.
Waste from residues: EWC-code: 07 05 14
