Chronic NOEC/L(E)C10 values nickel toxicity to freshwater plants that have been carried forward for the HC5-& PNEC derivation, range from 8.2 to 75.0 μg Ni/L.

Freshwater:

From the database of chronic nickel toxicity to freshwater plants, 6 individual NOEC/L(E)C10 values reported for 2 higher plant species. NOEC/L(E)C10 values range from 8.2 to 75 μg/l for Lemna minor (Antunes, 2007) and 50 to 80 μg/l for Lemna gibba(Klaine and Knuteson, 2003) for a final range of 8.2 to 80 μg/l for the higher plants Lemna gibbaand Lemna minor.
