Additional information

A biodegradation study was conducted according to OECD guideline 301 D and the EU method C.4 -E.The ready biodegradability of F 213 Red was studied in a closed bottle test. The test item was exposed to activated sludge in the dark at 19.6 -20.9°C for 28 days. The oxygen measurements were performed in duplicate on days 0, 7, 14, 21 and 28. F 213 Red reached a mean of 23.6 % after 28 days based on the measured COD of the test item. The test item was thus considered inherently biodegradable, not fulfilling the criteria.
