First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with plenty of soap and water, do not use solvents seek

medical attention should irritation effects persist.

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water-mist, carbon dioxide, foam and dry powder may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of nitrogen

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective equipment (see 2.3.1) and avoid

dust formation. Take up spill using an industrial vacuum.

Transfer to labelled containers and dispose of by

incineration in accordance with local regulations.

Do not allow spill to enter drains and surface waters.

Handling and storage

Handling: Wear suitable protctive clothing, gloves, safety goggles and

respiratory protection.

Storage: Store in tightly closed containers away from food or

foodstuffs.

possibility of dust explosion. This effect is brought to the

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recycling of the formulated product may be possible where

the process is being undertaken in an enclosed environment

with the correct machinery and scrubber systems for

extraction of over-spray etc. (A612)

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method at a suitable facility using temperatures

above 1200 deg C. Waste gas treatment to remove oxides of

nitrogen should be fitted. (A661)

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The product will eventually biodegrade given suitable

treatment conditions.
