- Executive summary:
A study was conducted according to OECD TG 114 and EN ISO 12058-1 (2002) to determine the viscosity of the test item. Using a rolling ball viscosimeter according to Hoeppler, the viscosity was determined in two independent triplicate determinations at 20 °C and 40 °C, respectively. The viscosity of the test item at 20 °C was determined to be 68.644 ± 0.051 mPa *s at 20.00 ± 0.02 °C which is the mean of two values. Precision of the value is given as standard deviation of all six individual measurements. As the measured RSD was 0.07 %, the validity criterion was met. The viscosity of the test item at 40 °C was determined to be 28.661 ± 0.012 mPa *s at 40.0 ± 0.1 °C which is the mean of two values. Precision of the value is given as standard deviation of all six individual measurements. As the measured RSD was 0.04 %, the validity criterion was met. No observations arousing doubts concerning the accuracy of the results and the validity of the study were made.
