Description of key information

Henry's Law states that at a constant temperature, the amount of a given gas that dissolves in a given type and volume of liquid is directly proportional to the partial pressure of that gas in equilibrium with that liquid. Since, N,N-dimethyl-p-toluidine is a liquid, the Henry's Law Constant's value obtained was very high 9580 Pa-m3/mole at 25 deg C indicating that this substnace is volatile in nature.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
9 580
at the temperature of:
25 °C
