Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

A range finding test was carried out at concentrations from 0.01 - 100 mg/l to determine the concentrations for the main test. Due to the results of the pretest CA 2342A was tested as limit test with one test concentration of 100 mg test substance/l and a blank control without test substance.
In the test vessels no visible alteration of the test substance in the test medium was observed after 48 h.
During the test the actual concentrations in the analysed test media were in the range of 99 - 101 % of the nominal values and thus sufficiently stable and the reported results were related to the nominal values of the test substance concentrations.
No immobilization and abnormal behaviour of the Daphnia was observed in the control and in the test concentration of 100 mg/l. Thus, the EC0 value after 48 h was determined to be 100 mg/l. The EC100 value after 48 h could not be determined and the EC50 value after 48 h could not be calculated.
