Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, symptomatic treatment. In all cases
remove any contaminated clothing and launder before reuse.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with planty of water.
Emergency measure - Skin: Rinse immediately with plenty of water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Symptomatic treatment.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water mist, foam or dry agents are suitable.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and
nitrogen together with some soot.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus is recommended.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Ensure adequate ventilation to avoid exposure to dusts. If
necessary wear respiratory protection. Sweep up powder
spillages (as under 2.3.1 and transfer to labelled waste
containers. Dispose of containers in accordance with local
or national regulations.
Handling and storage
Handling: Store and use under conditions of good industrial hygiene
and in conformity with any local regulations.
Keep personal exposure to inhalable dust to below 10 mg/m3
and respiratable dust below 5 mg/m3; if exposure cannot be
avoided use respiratory protection if necessary.
Storage: No special precautions.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery from minor spillages or accidental discharges is
not economically or technically feasible.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: No treatment methods for the identified hazard are known.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Controlled discharge at an authorised site is possible.
Alternatively, the substance can be diluted with water prior
to disposal.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Disposal at an authorised facility equipped with waste gas
treatment to remove nitrogen oxides is possible.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will only enter the public domain in the form
of printed papers, which can be disposed of with domestic
and office waste.
