Adsorption/desorption: Low potential for adsorption

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No measured data are available for the adsorption/desorption ofdisilane, chloro Me derivs.or its hydrolysis products.Disilane, chloro Me derivs.is expected to hydrolyse rapidly in contact with water to give hydrogen chloride and, initially, the silanol derivatives of the three main constituents, and further hydrolyse to methylsilanetriol and dimethylsilanediol. The silanol derivatives all have low log Kowvalues and thus have low potential for adsorption, and the requirement for testing is waived..
