First-aid measures

Eye contact: Rinse with plenty of water.
Skin contact: Wash off with soap and water.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Keep patient warm and at rest. If symptoms persist, seek medical advice
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Drink plenty of water. Seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Use water spray, foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide (CO2)
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons: Do NOT use water jet.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary.
Special exposure hazards in a fire : Hazardous decomposition products - see section 10.
Further information : Water mist may be used to cool closed containers.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Use personal protective equipment.
Environmental precautions: Try to prevent the material from entering drains or water courses.
Methods for cleaning up: Shovel into suitable container for disposal. Clean contaminated surface thoroughly.
Further information : Contaminated surfaces will be extremely slippery.

Handling and storage

Handling: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Provide adequate ventilation. For personal protection see information in relevant section.

Storage: Keep tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
