Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Fish
96-h LL50 (Lethal Loading 50 %) and EL50 (Effective Loading 50 %) values of > 100 mg/L WAF. The 96-h EL0 and LL0 were ≥ 100 mg/L WAF (OECD 203 and EU Method C.1)
Aquatic invertebrates
48-h EL50 (Effective Loading 50 %) value of > 100 mg/L WAF. The 48-h EL0 was ≥ 100 mg/L WAF (OECD 202 and EU Method C.2)
Algae
72-h EL50 (Effective Loading 50 %) value of > 100 mg/L WAF for growth rate. The EL0 was ≥ 100 mg/L WAF (OECD 201 and EU Method C.3)
Microorganisms
Based on nominal concentrations, 3-Hour EC50 > 10000 mg/L. The No Observed Effect Concentration (NOAEC) after 3 hours exposure was 1000 mg/L (OECD 209)
Additional information
Experimental data indicate the absence of effects to representative organisms of the first three trophic levels of the aquatic life and microorganisms. No data are available on long-term effects following exposure to the submission item. However a lack of short-term effects up to and in exceedance of the water solubility cannot generally be discounted for non-toxicity during long-term exposure, no hazard is deemed for the submission item. This conclusion is based on the considerations and data supporting the expectation of low bioaccumulation (a BCF of about 10 can be assumed). The rapid, ready and thus ultimate biodegradation and the therefore expected high metabolization as evidenced for similar chemicals on one hand and the high lipophilicity as an absorption barrier on the other hand clearly support this assessment.
The submission item has no functional groups or chemical characteristics supporting any specific mode of action and falls therefore in the baseline toxicity categories according to the ECOSAR and OECD grouping schemes as calculated for representative structures using the OECD Toolbox 3.0.
