The flammability limits of acrolein vapour are 2.8 - 31% by volume.
Justification for classification or non-classification
According to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP) the test substance acrolein is classified as a flammable liquid Cat 2, H 225. A flammable liquid Cat 2 is defined as a liquid having a flash point < 23 °C and an initial boiling point > 35 °C. It was conducted that the test substance has a flash point of -26 °C and an initial boiling point of +53 °C.
