Recommended extinguishing agent: Water mist, foam, carbon dioxide and dry powder are

suitable.

Protective equipment: Normal working clothes with gloves and respirators are

recommended.

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Dispose of as chemical waste according to the local

regulations.

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid inhalation of dust and contact with skin. Minimise

exposure by use of standard occupational hygiene procedures.

Wear protective clothing and gloves (rubber coated cotton

gloves).

In practise, workers will handle the substance as a filter

cake, not dry powder.

Storage: Keep containers well sealed.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: KAZO (polycan with two gaps) and COCO (collaspsible

container), volume 30 and 750 kg.

capable of removing oxides of nitrogen and sulphur is

possible. Incinerator temperature, >1200 deg C.

sludges.
