Validity criteria for the measurement of the partition coefficient:

Target condition according to guideline:Actual condition according to the study:Validity criteria met:
In order to assure the accuracy of the partition coefficient, duplicate determinations are to be made under three different test conditions, whereby the quantity of substance specified as well as the ratio of the solvent volumes may be varied. The determined values of the partition coefficient expressed as
their common logarithms should fall within a range of ± 0,3 log units.

The partition coefficent of the test substance was determined under three differnt volumen ratios. The single values of the measurements were not reported. However, mean values of the partition coefficent expressed as common logarithms vary < 0.01 log units. Therefore, accuracy of the determined value are considered as sufficient.

yes
Conclusions:
The partition coefficient of test substance was determined with, log Pow = -0.83.
Executive summary:

The study was performed to assess the partition coefficient. The study was conducted in accordance with EEC Method for "determination of the partition coefficient", Directive 84/449/EEC, method A.8. The partition coefficient of test substance was determined with, log Pow = -0.83.
