The melting/ freezing point of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guideline OECD 102, under GLP conditions.

The experiment was performed using a differential scanning calorimeter, the test material was a liquid so the test was started at - 60 °C held isothermally for 15 minutes, then heated at 5 °C/min to 20 °C and then 10 °C/min to 400 °C. Two determinations using 5.47 and 6.41 mg were made.

Under the conditions of this study, no melting temperature was detected, but a glass transition was observed at -18 °C (mean of -17.8 and -17.6 °C).
