Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

readily biodegradable

Additional information

The biodegradation of the test substance was studied in a Closed Bottle test according to the slightly modified OECD (301D), EU and ISO guidelines under GLP (Van Ginkel 2007, Reliability 1, key study). RDP was found to be readily biodegradable (61% degradation in 28 days). In a prolonged Closed Bottle test the degradation rate was lower but after 56 days the mineralisation had reached 66%, confirminig that the test substance was inherently and ultimately biodegradable (Van Ginkel and Stroo 1996).
