In the course of this study the partition coefficient (Pow) of Reaction product of 2-hydroxybenzoic acid, styrene and oxozinc was determined using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The partition coefficient is given as a range, the determined log Pow 2.78 +/- 0.00 to 5.64 +/- 0.01 (95% confidence interval).

The partition coefficient Pow was determined using high performance liquid chromatography based on a calibration curve with eight reference items. The capacity factors k were calculated from the dead time and retention times of the reference substances. As the test substance is a mixture (UVCB substance), the partition coefficient (Pow) of Reaction product of 2-hydroxybenzoic acid, styrene and oxozinc is given as a range. The log Pow was determined to lie between 2.78 +/- 0.00 and 5.64 +/- 0.01 (95% confidence interval).
