Description of key information

The LC50 value of diiodohydroxyquinoline for a 96 hour study on fish Oncorhynchus mykiss, a fresh water fish, was found to be 22.24685 mg/L. But the BCF value of diiodohydroxyquinoline reported was not >= 500 as well as the substance was found to be rapidly degradable.Thus considering the CLP Criteria for aquatic classification of the substance , it is concluded that diiodohydroxyquinoline could not exhibit short term toxicity to fish
