Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
From the experimental data obtained according to the guideline A.5 in Council Regulation (EC)
No 440/2008 part A and OECD Guideline No. 115, it can be concluded that the surface tension
of the test item sample can be estimated as follows:

67.2 mN/m in an aqueous solution at 90% of its saturation at 20°C

According to the interpretation of the results suggested in the A.5 method, the test item sample
should be considered as a non surface-active material.
