First-aid measures

General information: Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately

After inhalation: Ensure supply of fresh air. In the event of symptoms seek medical advice.

After contact with skin: In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water. Consult a doctor if skin irritation persists.

After contact with eyes: Immediately rinse eyes under running water (approximately 15 minutes, or use an emergency eyewash). Always consult a physician.

After ingestion: Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Get medical treatment

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: water spray jet, foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide

Exposure - Do not release chemically contaminated water into drains, soil or surface water. Sufficient measures must be taken to retain the water used for extinguishing. Dispose of contaminated water and soil according to local regulations

Accidental release measures

General information: Wear personal protective equipment. Unprotected persons must be kept away.

Environmental Precautions - Do not discharge into drains/surface waters/groundwater or any other water source

Methods for Cleaning - Take up mechanically and collect in a suitable container (adequately labelled) for disposal. Avoid raising dust

Spills/Leaks: Vacuum or sweep up material and place into a suitable disposal container. Wear a self contained breathing apparatus and appropriate personal protection. Avoid generating dusty conditions. Provide ventilation. Avoid release to the environment.

Handling and storage

Handling - Avoid ingestion, inhalation, skin and eye contact. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene practice and any legal requirements. Avoid dust formation and ignition sources. Ensure good local exhaust ventiliation.

Storage: Keep tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

General protective measures: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Store protective clothing separately. Shower or take a bath at the end of work.

Hygiene measures: Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately.

Respiratory protection: In case of dust formation, use a fine dust face mask.

Hand protection: Chemical resistant gloves. Observe the information of the glove manufacturers on permeability and breakthrough times and other workplace requirements
