Cinnamidopropyl trimethyl ammonium chloride is an organic substance containing an amide group and an ammonium cation. However, the oxygen and nitrogen atoms in these functional groups are bound only to carbon (and hydrogen in the case of the amide nitrogen). Therefore, these functional groups need not be considered as conferring oxidising properties. In addition, the ammonium chloride function is not considered as conferring oxidising properties. The other minor constituents listed in the composition table above are structurally related to the title substance and hence do not contain chemical functionality associated with oxidising properties.
