The estimated hazard is representative for the substance across industry, as defined by the maximum of the typical elemental concentration across industry (as outlined under IUCLID section 1.2).

The UVCB is a complex metal containing substance, which major constituents are sulphuric acic and water, as well as nickel, copper, zinc and arsenic (soluble) sulphate salts. Sulphuric acid is a mineral acid that has high affinity to water. It dissociates in water to form sulphate and hydrogen (carbonium) ions. These, as well as CuSO4 and NiSO4, as well Arsenic and zinc sulphate salts are the relevant forms to determine hazard properties of the substance. The constituent triggerring irritation to eye and skin is sulphuric acid (typical above 20%)
