Description of key information

The explosive properties of NExBTL renewable diesel were determined using Method A14 Explosive Properties of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008. It was determined not to have explosive properties. Since the substance is a UVCB substance of similar composition to NExBTL renewable diesel, it can also be assumed to be non explosive.

Justification for classification or non-classification

NExBTL renewable diesel was not found to have explosive properties according to BAM fall hammer test and the Koenen steel tube test (Method A14 (EC) No 440/2008). Since the substance is a UVCB substance of similar composition to NExBTL renewable diesel, it is assumed not to have explosive properties. Thus, no classification is required.
